The Hotel has 16 rooms. (All second floor and Non-Smoking) All have private baths and individual room climate controls. All rooms have TV. Phones are in a limited number of rooms but a house phone is located in the landing, at the top of the stairs. There are 6 suite rooms and two of them have 2 twin beds in them for ladies groups or friends traveling together. A Continental Breakfast is provided every morning in the dinning room. The Dinning room is also used for Candle Light dinners for two, Family gatherings, Catered group meals and corporate meetings..

The Hotel was originally constructed for the large railroad business that was prominent in Fort Scott at that time. The Courtland Hotel & Day Spa has retained its historic Charm even with the addition of the new Day Spa facilities that have been added on the lower level of the Hotel.
